I’m starting to think I may be too old fashioned for these modern “men.” I use the term VERY loosely! I seriously doubt that I’ll meet anyone worthy in a bar. Although I do enjoy them, I’m not into having to make room for the chatty, exposed girls who saunter/stumble out after a few drinks to thank the guy….I’m not her, keep looking. I’m just as comfortable going out with friends as I am just sitting on the couch watching a movie. I’m affectionate with the one I’m with, and have never been a one night stand type of lady. As you can see I used the word LADY there. If there’s something you’d like to know, ask. I know what I want in the MAN who’s out there, and I don’t think it’s too much to ask.

I’m witty, and sarcastic, I’d apologize but it isn’t annoying. I talk, alot, and fast(especially when nervous). It takes me a little while to warm up to someone new but when I do(I promise it won’t take long if I’m comfortable!) it’s worth the wait. I have an open mind when it comes to new things. Not much of a thrill seeker, but open to trying something new. I’ve recently started a fulltime job in customer service, which makes me appreciate those who work for the public. When I find something I’m passionate about I want to learn as much as I can, and admire those who can teach me something new. Life’s far too short to allow the things you really want to pass you by. I value my family and friends, and they’re the ones who keep this (day, night, anytime of) dreamer’s feet on the ground. Over the past few years my close knit family has gotten even closer. And I am greatful for it. I thank my mother for raising me on jazz and soul, because I can hear and see it in the music I listen to.

I write for an onlline music magazine, and love the opportunities it’s given me to meet some great people, and also learn about the industry. It’s taken me outside of my comfort zone and it’s been both exciting and nerve wrecking at times. I have a guitar, but have yet to learn to play, but love to sing when I can. I’m a lover of “cheesey” things (i. e. movies, music,)I love a good laugh. My taste in music isn’t what you’d expect, but I’m full of suprises I won’t give away here. Nothing like a roadtrip with a great mixtape(yeah i still believe in the power of the mixtape!!) I’m not one to stand still while at a conert, I’d much rather be up front dancing and shouting the songs back at the stage. I also love to paint, and I’m begining to sell handpainted tshirts, sweatshirts, and totebags online(wish me luck!!)

I believe manners are important and cannot be overlooked. I feel asthough if you want to approach me, then you should carry yourself as such. I want a realtionship. I’m looking for the MAN who I not only connect with in a spiritual way, but, also someone who has a deep love for his family and friends. Someone who knows what he’s about, and is looking forward to discovering a new side of himself. Someone who has an open mind and respects me and my beliefs. I’m turned off by a foul mouth(i’m no saint, but every other word doesn’t need to be a curse) disrespect, and anyone who cannot at least see the other side of a discussion.

BONUS POINTS go out to anyone who can get me to adore Bob Dylan, or jazz. Athough I did see No Direction Home and I LOVED it.
